荒野機場
當我起飛後從空中回頭看，才發現昨晚是在這麼美麗的荒野度過，在荒野中的夜晚，滿天星斗，尤其是在沙漠乾燥，沒有光害下更是清晰可見，照片中的右角是一座荒野機場，這機場位於美國大峽谷的西側，Pearce Ferry Airport (皮爾斯渡輪機場) , 為何機場的名字叫渡輪機場？其實在這山腳下真的有一個渡輪碼頭，在1876皮爾斯家族在這經營渡輪的生意，現在這個渡輪碼頭已經成為休閒活動愛好者碼頭，他們會把船拖到這裡來從事水上活動，這一條河流就是大名鼎鼎的克羅拉多河Colorado River,往上游可以進入美國大峽谷國家公園，一路可以穿越大峽谷到達大理石峽谷(Marble canyon), 包威爾湖(Lake Powell)，往下游可達胡佛水壩(Hoover Dam).
